Consultation
Design concepts or ideas and advice or suggestions of or relating to the graphical appearance or type layouts of logos, web sites, t-shirt designs, flyers, brochures, or other visual media. Basic Photo Editing
Resizing (large to small only), cropping, perspective correction, straightening crooked photos, and fixing under- or over-exposed photos. Advanced Photo Editing
Photo manipulation including background removal, removal of unsightly or unwanted image imperfections, combining two images into one, and other adjustments to color, saturation, or brightness/contrast. Custom Social Media Graphic
Header images and profile and cover photos for advertising and branding use on websites and Facebook Pages or Twitter. Custom Print Material
Layout and design of posters or flyers for advertising (i.e. event flyer), brochures, business cards, and book or album cover art layout. A mock-up layout will precede the actual development of the project once proper details and information have been provided*. *Posters or flyers should include the following as applicable to the event: Who, What, Location, Time, Why, Pricing; brochures should include all images and/or proofread text intended for use on the cover, inside panels, and backing; cover art should include the piece title, image(s) and preferences for their use. |
Concept Design
The concept design is the result of consultation for any custom logo design and will include specifications requested by the client. If major revisions are requested following initial submission to the client for feedback and the resulting design contains significant differences*, it will be charged as another separate concept design. *A significant difference meaning a completely different concept; one extreme vs.another (i.e. portrait vs. landscape, squares vs. circles, black and hot pink vs. white and orange, etc.) Custom Logo/Image Design
The custom logo or image design is developed and revised from the concept design(s) previously created and considered between Melon Waves™ and the client. Custom images are only limited by the imagination and can be anything from original cover art illustration to a tattoo design to a t-shirt design. Logo Re-creation/Touch-up
Logo re-creation can be requested either directly by the owner of rights to the design* (e.g. a small company hired a designer to create the original but no longer has the original high quality files) or by those seeking to use a well-known logo for non-commercial advertisement (e.g. social media logos**), but touch-ups and alterations are only offered to those with rights to the original design* (e.g. I will only re-create or touch up a Starbucks logo if the director of marketing contacted me themselves). *Melon Waves™ will not accept instructions from a client that involve infringement of another party's property rights without permission. **The recreation of simple one-color designs like social media logos for use as image buttons on websites will be grouped and charged as a Custom Social Media Graphic. |
